June 21st – Make Music Chicago day!

On Thursday, I will be participating in an all-day event promoting musical awareness and enjoyment in the city of Chicago. The event is called Make Music Chicago, and it is held in many different venues all across the city — FREE of charge.

I’ll be involved with 3 different events on the schedule for the day, and my opera company (American Chamber Opera company) will also be sharing a public performance!

• 11:30 AM – Solo opera performance in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building. Accompanied on piano by my brother, Joe Buchheit
• 12 PM – Miss Chicago appearance at Sousapalooza: Sing-A-Long at Daley Plaza
• 3 PM – “Mari Therese” solo acoustic guitar performance at Holstein Park in Wicker Park
• 3:30 PM – American Chamber Opera company performs at University of Chicago (International House)
